Episode 18: Wild thing

Where the forest breathes in shades of rose,
And ancient boughs their secrets enclose,
She walks, a spirit, unbound and free,
A quiet echo of nature’s decree.
Her hair, the snow of a mountain peak,
Her gaze, a wisdom that words can’t speak.
Beautiful, yes, in a stoic grace,
An untamed heart in a hallowed place.

Antlers crown, like delicate wood,
Adorned with blossoms where butterflies brood.
Monarch wings, a vibrant, soft flutter,
Whisper tales of the world, a faint mutter.
Of distant cities, of hurried pace,
Of faces lost in time and space.
Curiosity stirs, a gentle breeze,
Through the rustling leaves of the ancient trees.

But the forest calls, a deeper song,
Where she truly feels she can belong.
The scent of earth, the dappled light,
A sanctuary, both dark and bright.
With every whisper, she turns within,
Further into where wild things begin.
The outside world, a fading sound,
As her spirit settles on sacred ground.
